Best friends. That’s what Jenn and I have been for the
better part of 5 years.
I first connected with her before my family and I had even moved to Maine. I wanted to get the lay of the
land in terms of communities, schools, and of course trail running. And, a mutual trail running friend suggested I look Jenn up. She was a
wealth of knowledge, having lived and run in the area herself for almost 5 years. And was super helpful in getting me up to speed on everything I
needed to know about living, running, and raising a family in downeast Maine.

THE DECISION

THE BLOG
6 months ago... I packed up everything I owned into my car (and a 5 foot wide by 8 foot long shipping container) and moved from Ellsworth, Maine to Spokane, Washington. 9 months ago... I'd be hard pressed to even find Spokane on a map.
So, when did it all go wrong (or, right) depending on my ever changing mood? Who would just up and move 3000 miles away from the only region he's ever known? What was the aftermath of such a life-changing decision? How am I coping with starting over again, again, again? Where does that leave me now? And, why am I writing about it?
Hopefully this therapy blog will explore some of the answers to those questions... for the benefit of the both of us.
